I have been using it for 10 months, worked perfectly. But since a week it is completely still, cannot switch it on. I noticed on the internet while searching for a solution that more people have seen the Asus Zenfone2 sudden death.

I had the Zenfone 2 for a about a few months and i think its worth your time. Games never lag and i went a full day with light and heavy gaming and ended with %100 to %15 (It lasts all day!!). The camera has a motherload of features and takes amazing shots!! Buy this phone with pride. Only like $250.00 which is cheap compared to other models and the sweet specs you get.

I have this phone for a month, it works perfect. It is fast, it does not hang up or lags. 2.3GHz does its job. 4GB of RAM contribute to the fact that apps run from memory and we do not have to wait for the game to load again. The display is ok but it does not astonish. The camera could be better but I cannot complain :) The battery lasts from the morning until the evening, which is a standard. Basically this is a positive phone :) does anyone of you know whether this model will receive an update to the latest Android version?

I was choosing between three phones:
- S5 Mini – I crossed it out because of the fact that it hangs up (a brand new model from a store) – after lodging a complaint it was returned and I did not receive another one – so there really is something wrong with this model :)
- Huawei Ascend P7 or P8 – a neat and nice in touch phone
- Asus Zenfone 2 32GB 4 GB RAM

I have chosen ASUS. I have the phone since yesterday. When it comes to dimensions it was ideal, because when you are almost 2m tall, you have equally big hands so using buttons was not problematic. The phone works smooth. Properly configured it will probably consume less energy :) The quality of calls is ok, photos are nice, but please remember that this is only a gadget to the phone and not the default device for taking photos.
Basically I must mark it as positive, it is a pity that such a phone does not have an aluminium housing, it would look much better.

There are only two disadvantages:
- dual SIM – as someone mentioned earlier, the 2G slot does not allow to receive an MMS, so placing the card with the phone number and the second one with Aero is pointless…
- I did not find (yet) any possibility to change the ringtone, for example, to an mp3, but maybe I missed something during my first day with this phone :)
Basically this is a nice, but a big phone :)

I have been using this smartphone for a week, I moved from Trend Plus and the difference is enormous.
In the benchmark test ZenFone achieved 47345 points which says a lot, demanding games work without any problems and browsing the Internet is a pure pleasure. The phone is incredibly efficient and fast, the only thing that I dislike it the camera, which takes great and clear shots during the daytime, but at night, for example when using the LED flash, photos are not as good, but there is no tragedy.
I recommend this phone to anyone who would like to buy a good for a good price, I bought mine for 320 euro and I do not regret it :)

I have been using this phone for three weeks. It is rather heavy but with such a display it would be difficult for it to be lighter. Because of its dimensions, it is difficult to use it with one hand especially that the power button is at the top of the phone and not on its side.
The system works ably – the phone is really fast. The CPU is ok, but maybe it is thanks to the RAM.
The brightness of the display could be better.
The weak battery is a disadvantage but with a normal usage the phone lasts around 1.5 day. By turning on the power management system, it can achieve two days. Charging is fast but I noticed that only while using the charger from the set. I used a charger from Samsung too, but the process was longer. Maybe it is because of the cable? I do not know.
The phone has dual (active) SIM. When I was buying it this was a crucial matter for me, but… unfortunately, the second slot, despite being marked as 2G only supports voice calls, we cannot even read/send an MMS. This should be mentioned in the description in my opinion.
The number of ASUS apps preinstalled in the system is a disadvantage. While trying to disable some of them (the phone was not rooted) the phone, during the latest update, downloads them automatically from Google Play.
Despite these disadvantages – it is worth its price.

The battery is very good at least 24 h with a lot of screen time and audio playing. I like more the google dialer for the easy of use and names search.
very good phone

I dont know why people are saying their battery life is terrible with this phone. I have had nothing but a great time with this phone. For example, i use a Bluetooth headset in my helmet while on my motorcycle and i can run spotify for 5-6 hours on my phone before my Bluetooth headset will die. The phone battery life is STILL at 50% +. With the fast charging capability you can have you phone back to 100% in around 30-40 min max.

The speed and reliability with this phone is great. Samsung bogs down their phone with useless apps, yes i know asus does too, and it does not matter their specs the phones always slow down. If you know how to disable applications that come with the phone in tandem with a good force app killer application like greenify then your phone will last at least a day and a half with constant texting or receiving phones calls per-day, at least mine does.

In my opinion the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML is a great phone for the price point and a all around damn good phone. I will never switch back to Samsung as you get one major update and then you need to buy a new phone where as asus wants to make your phone experience better by releasing updates, and new software patches. I trust Asus as they are also a great computer company.
